WERA's 3-Step Business Investment Philosophy
Why spreading your money into investments too early is risky for a 6/7-figure business owner, and the simple 3-step investment philosophy of the rich: invest in yourself, then in your business, then in properties.
Once your business starts making serious money, your brain tells you to invest, diversify, split and play it safe. In this video Stefan Neuss of WERA Capital Partners explains why, for a 6/7-figure business owner who wants to become a multi-millionaire, this is the wrong move.
The problem with playing it safe
According to Neuss, if you simply start investing and diversifying, the chance of going bankrupt is high. The rich and super rich follow a simple three-step investment philosophy instead, and he calls it the secret to building real wealth.
Step 1: Invest in yourself
Always invest in yourself first. Learn new skills, change your mindset and understand how the world works. Do you know everything about online marketing, about structuring your cash flow in the best way, or about building a structure that lasts two to five generations? Learning takes time. It is not like buying a burger, which is instant.
Step 2: Invest in your business
Next, invest in your business. Digitalise it, build processes and automate them, so the business is ready for the future. You might buy competitors who want to give up, increase your stock or open branches in other countries. Neuss's advice is to squeeze the business like a lemon and make the most of it.
Step 3: Invest in properties
With a structure in place and solid six, seven or eight figures of profit each year, you pay tax once and then pay dividends out. From this money you start buying properties. This is how your circle of wealth begins, and it is what the rich and super rich have learned.
